The Workshop I joined in 2010 with GMP architects, this time I also work as an intern in Group8hanoi. This is an opportunity for me to compare two architecture office, one from Switzerland and the other from German.
My idea in the workshop’s project is the “ street”. The difference between Vietnam’s urban and Europe’s urban is the shape. My country have so long-term history and in the pass, we have so many affect from another countries , from our religion and all of them always varies from time to time. So I think all of them can be reflected on our façade and the shape of the street. The project will be made by the urban façade element, I tried to create the “ vertical street “ in the urban. This building win become the iconic building what reflects our urban situation and also reflects our life style ( complex, sexy , funky …). The project have two status, one status in day light and the other one in night, each status has the difference meaning of the negative part and the positive part. I also joined some lecture which was presented by some famous professor and architects. This event was so useful because it made the new attitude for me to work in the international environment after. |
